It's okay not to be okay

Sometimes there is darkness
and you just want to sleep,
you can't find a reason
to wake up and live.

Sometimes you are forced to smile,
to hear that you have to be fine,
to hide that you are struggling
and feeling that you keep going down.

Let me tell you
what The Chatterboxes taught me:
it's okay to not be okay,
it's okay to be afraid,
it's okay to ask for help.

Masks are great for Halloween
but I prefer to see who you are.

We all cry
as we are all human beings.
We all are allowed
to make things wrong
and to learn
from those mistakes.
We all need some time off
and look after ourselves.

Your mental health
is more important
than what others think.
